Russ Monroe's Projects

Cribbage Board
- As much as I liked the shadow play on the wavy unfinished parts of the frame, I decided to add color again. I dyed the cherry with the newts in the middle transparent blue, and painted the rolling hills. I also made custom game pegs for playing. Because it ended up being larger than I had originally thought, I wasnt sure that it would be able to sit year round on a table without getting in the way. I added a means for hanging it on the wall, so when its not being used, its a piece of decorative funky artwork (I mean, its already framed and everything. Why not?). The cows in the corner are the start and finish point of the game. April 2020.
